Sweet 16 for Smelly

It was Nellie's sweet 16 last February. I feel like I should start this off with the statement that my family is hilarious. Truly we are. You should all be so lucky to get to hang out with us. The following are the snapshots taken with my phone. Yes I realize the pictures are a little bit horrible but in my defense I haven't figured out how to take good pictures with the new phone. I'm still working on that.

In case you were wondering, yes Nellie did stuff her face with Sadie's pasta.

Now I actually have no idea why Kenzie's arm looks like rubber. It's a mystery to me too.

Oddly enough the two youngest munchkins can look oddly sweet sometimes. Don't worry....it doesn't last.

they're smooching. like that's something we haven't seen before :)

The night was filled with laughter, jokes (some of which was wildly inappropriate...and thus hilarious), and snickering. Some highlights from the evening include:

Cindie hiding in the room of the restaurant and jumping out and attacking Nellie. The only people who knew she was coming was Mom and Dad.

Mom: (talking about her co-worker and Mom's favorite writing apparatus) She stoled my pen!

Kenzie: Friends are like bras. Close to your heart and there for support. (Now what made this hilarious was Dad's blush.)

Dad: Well that's 'cause they like Nellie.
Sadie: (in a moment of silence and said in a threatening creepy manner) What about me Dad?

Kenzie: Friends are like condoms. They're there for when things get hard. (yeah Tanner covered his ears for this one. smart boy)
Sadie: What are condoms? (all faces turn to Dad)
Dad: Ask your mother.
Mom: Well it was Kenzie's joke. Ask her.
Nellie: It's to protect you from having sex.
Kenzie: It covers a guy's penis.
You can always count on Kenz

Cindie: Where did you run?
Sadie: Outside.

And those are just the things I can remember off the top of my head. We laughed hard and loud and probably distracted all the other diners. In one word? Awesome.

Update on Boyer life

It has be forever since this has been updated so I thought I would.

• We went to Lake Powell and had a blast even if the boat was broken



• school started Cindie is now going to college Makenzie is getting her associates at Dixie state college Nellie Is a sophomore Sadie is in 8th grade Tanner in 5th



• I has been a busy new year Jamie just had her baby boy today at 2:55 we are all very happy :)



• Nellie will be getting her license in February Sadie will get her permit in November

youth Conference/Girls Camp

Hi this is Nellie I had a blast at youth Conference On friday we did a service Porject and we Changed five peoples day from bad to good that was the most wonderful feeling ever.

Girls Camp was so much fun with my sister there and every thing!!!!

Lake in June

I just found out we have a family blog! Awesome! So as you all know our boats been broken but that didn't stop us from going to the lake this Friday and Saturday. Our neighbor Russ Stewart graciously let us borrow his small boat and we hit the lake. The weather on Elsie's birthday was hot and not too windy. We all enjoyed quail and came back burned(especially me). Kenzie got up on the wakeboard! you go girl!






We got up early(4 am) Saturday and headed to Lake Powell for the Day. It sprinkled a little and was windy the whole day. Despite this we had a blast! We looked at prospective house boats, a mansion on the water, played golf toss on the beach, and went crazy at the sand dunes! Elsie showed a little more than most of us going down the hill..oops. We saw a pelican at out camp, pretty sweet. Oh kenzie needs to stay out of "public areas"(you know what I mean). Thanks for the good times family and not letting poor weather damper our spirts! Oh and sorry about the crazy format...it's not working for me and I'm getting frustrated so i'm just going to post it!

Happy Birthday

Hi Everyone this is Nellie and my birthday was yesterday yay me I am now 15 crazy I know. In Januray me and Sadie had a birthday party together we did a mystery dinner it was a lot of fun I will be getting my premitt soon I am so exicted love you all

Boyer Salon

Over Christmas a couple of us decided we wanted to highlight our hair....it was alot of work! You couldn't really see much of a difference with Elsie, Sadie & Mackenzie, but Melissa's turned out VERY fake-blonde looking and had to go to a real salon to fix it--Oh well!! Guess What it has been snowing in Diamond Valley since Saturday December 13th.

Thanksgiving

For Thanksgiving we went up to Midway. It was a lot of fun we played games and ate a lot of food.

We went swimming while we were there. the whole family came up too.
